The primary goals of our office is to provide a comfortable, private, warm, and safe environment for our patients.
Carmel Valley Facial Plastic Surgery is located in the Torrey Hills Medical and Dental Plaza in Carmel Valley, San Diego. The
brand new state-the-art medical building is just miles from the coast between La Jolla and Del Mar and offers easy access to all
major freeways (5, 805, and 56). Parking is free and plentiful. Patients can park in a dedicated 2 story parking structure without
the hassles of driving in and out of a busy medical center.
Once inside our office, you will be greeted by a warm, experienced, and friendly staff of professionals. From the
moment you walk in you will pick up on the positive vibe that comes from people who genuinely have passion for what they do and have
fun doing it.
You will be greeted in the waiting room with a refreshment or small snack. After you have had a chance to complete
your paper work you will be taken back into one of our exam rooms. There, one of our Patient Care Coordinators will greet you and
go over your history and briefly summerize the topics that you’d like to discuss during your consultation with Dr. Karam. Following
this Dr. Karam, will initiate the cosmetic consultation. This will include a thorough discussion of your goals, desires, and
expectations as well as a focused physical exam. For prospective patients interested surgical procedures, you will be taken back to
the consultation room. Here, Dr. Karam will perform Digital Imaging to illustrate the potential results following your aesthetic
procedure and go over before and after photographs. Following this you will meet again with our Patient Care Coordinator to summarize
and schedule your procedure.
For patients who choose to perform their procedure under local anesthesia, the procedures are preformed in our in-office
procedure room. The room is equipped with the latest and most advanced surgical instruments and monitoring equipment. Patient comfort
and safety are our #1 priority. Every detail is accounted for to ensure this.
For those who choose to perform their procedures under general anesthesia, patients are taken to the Del Mar Surgery
Center. This AAAHC fully accredited outpatient surgery center is conveniently located just 2 miles from our office. The facility has
a long history of providing plastic surgery operative services and as a result the staff is experienced and in tune the unique needs
of the aesthetic patient. Anesthetic safety is paramount and the facility only offers board certified physician Anesthesiologist.
